Today Patternbank are featuring the work of print designer Soufiane Lafkih in our ongoing series highlighting our great designers here on the Patternbank Textile Print Design Studio. Soufiane has an extensive collection of designs including hand painted florals and digitally created geometrics. We asked Soufiane about his education and what inspires him, “I had a styliste and graphiste diploma from ESMOD school Paris, which I chose because of my passion and love for the fashion and clothing styles. My sources of inspiration are nature first, I love how the colours harmonise with each other. As for fashion, I follow street styles and the seasonal catwalk shows and the fashion designer who inspires me the most is Dirk Bikkembergs. Pantone recently revealed their 2017 colour of the year. Already seen on the Spring/Summer 2017 catwalks, Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring.
