Fall 2017 fashion week has just kicked off in New York. The Patternbank trend team are here to edit through each show as it happens. Our aim is to bring you up to date with the strongest and most directional print & pattern collections hitting the runway this season.

Patternbank are loving Red Valentino’s Amish inspired collection. Beautifully intricate micro florals, homespun embroidered statements were crafted with a traditional folk look of the Amish community.

The Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2016-17 catwalk shows began last week in New York and Patternbank have compiled the strongest print looks from the designers in two inspiring and informative posts. In this first selection we see designers taking a trip to the Seventies, revisiting historic exotic wallpaper and exploring elegant stylised floral pattern use. The Patternbank team have been busy extracting all the key print looks for you in the final instalment of New York Fashion Week. Coach for Spring/Summer 2016 tempted us with pretty prairie floral combinations, a recurring theme seen on the catwalk this week. Tommy Hilfiger and Anna Sui showed bright beach tropicals from the Caribbean and Hawaii for a laid back summer vibe. Other important trends came from more far flung destinations of the orient where kimono style prints caught our eye. Look out for our forthcoming report on London Fashion Week.
