The Patternbank Team have been analysing the latest Resort 2017 collections and have put together the strongest print trends alongside designs from the Patternbank Online Textile Design Studio that we think perfectly complement each story. The Resort collections give us a sneak preview of what we can expect from the Spring/Summer 2017 Catwalk shows. Slightly more commercially focused, but nevertheless important in their instant availability and timely showings, even the men are getting in on the act showcasing men’s pre-collections alongside womenswear. The Patternbank Team have analysed all the key print trends at Milan Fashion Week and today we bring you Part 2 of the highlights from the Milan shows. Here we saw more of the eclectic combinations of pattern and texture from Prada and Dsquared2 with bold geo collage dominating on the Marni runway and Gucci’s customary riot of tantalising styles. With the current trend towards seasonally confused collections, the message seems to be anything goes! Patternbank bring you the final instalment of Milan Fashion Week where Milan continued to show a strong trend towards print and pattern from textiles around the world, tropicals with a hint of South America and Peru from Stella Jean were strong on the catwalk.
