Also showing in Berlin, Bright spilled its urban contents at its new venue Warenhaus Jandorf, Brunnenstrasse. After visiting the recent Bread & Butter show in Berlin, the Patternbank team saw that photographic prints are still featuring strong for Spring/Summer 2013 graphics. Colourful, surreal prints are still a main focus for many brands for next summer. With this in mind we thought we’d share these imaginary photo collage prints from Beth Hoeckel. These beautifully expressive paintings are the work of Berlin based design studio Hello Me. They were commissioned by Troberg an experimental electro pop band from Munich.

Colour and pattern collide together to produce stunning visual form and movement. The paintings are combined with a custom made typeface. This was created by drawing small lines of paint on paper and then press another paper on top. The letters mostly remained in their original form and were only slightly adjusted.
