The Patternbank team have poured over Spring/Summer 2016’s runway shows at London Fashion Week, to bring you Part 2 of London’s key print trends. Preen’s catwalk collection for S/S16 focused heavily on the dramatic combination  of pretty florals overprinted with structured geometrics, whereas Katrantzou’s runway show was a rich and eclectic mix of clashing floral prints and decorative embellishments. Other shows were just as print heavy with sharp, structured geos, teeming meadow florals, and giant photographic prints all fighting for attention in this season’s London shows. Stay with us for Milan S/S16 coming soon!

The Patternbank team have been busy extracting all the key print looks for you in the final instalment of New York Fashion Week. Coach for Spring/Summer 2016 tempted us with pretty prairie floral combinations, a recurring theme seen on the catwalk this week. Tommy Hilfiger and Anna Sui showed bright beach tropicals from the Caribbean and Hawaii for a laid back summer vibe. Other important trends came from more far flung destinations of the orient where kimono style prints caught our eye. Look out for our forthcoming report on London Fashion Week.

The Patternbank Team have concluded the print trends from the London catwalks for Autumn/Winter 2015 to bring you Part 2 of our print highlights. Print and pattern has been a strong feature with a huge helping of bold and creative individuality which London is renowned for. Sass & Bide’s ethnic and tribal looks contrast Preen’s pretty vintage florals and eclectic textile mixes from Vivienne Westwood, while a woodland fairytale theme from Giles adds a magical element of romanticism . Look out for our coverage of the Milan and Paris shows still to come this month on Patternbank.
