Patternbank have been looking at Australian Fashion Week (MBFWA) Spring Summer 2012 and here we have compiled our favourites.

Alice Mccall with her folk inspired Russian doll prints and embroidery.

Zimmerman showed shimmering pastel florals and lace mixed with sporty details.

Talulah gave us a palette of pastels with neon florals, black and white silhouette florals and digital prints.

Bec & Bridge’s collection had some beautiful floral prints in blues and scarf prints showed strong graphics.

Photographic abstract prints in blues and neutrals from An Ode to No One caught are eye.

We loved Aanchal Chanda’s indian inspired paisley prints mixed with animal skins and blown up photographic jewelled imagery.

Camilla showed future inspired techno prints from around the globe.

Akira’s bold use of colour mixed with oriental prints with sculptural textured fabrics were a definite hit. All images via
